The Alan Sauvé Endowment Fund offers financial awards to students to support their pursuit of fulfilling and lasting careers in customer service. This is accomplished through educational and professional development opportunities.
The Alan Sauvé Scholarship program was initiated in 2017. Annually, during the Manitoba Excellence in Customer Contact Achievement Awards (MECCA) Gala, we organize a silent auction, with the net proceeds contributing to an expanding fund. To maintain the sustainability of this endowment fund, we welcome donations all year round.

Who was Alan Sauvé?
Alan Sauvé participated on the MCCA Board of Directors for over a decade, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to the organization and its mission. His tenure on the board spanned more than 10 years, during which he held the esteemed position of MCCA Board of Director Chair for two consecutive terms, showcasing his leadership capabilities and dedication to the association's goals.
Following his time as Chair, Alan continued to contribute his expertise and guidance as the Past Chair for an additional two years, ensuring a smooth transition and continuity of vision for the board and its initiatives. Throughout his time with MCCA, Alan emerged as a strong supporter of the organization, tirelessly advocating for transformative changes within the call centre landscape in Manitoba. He recognized the challenges faced by the industry, particularly during periods of economic uncertainty and evolving consumer expectations.
Alan's proactive approach to leadership positioned him as a true industry leader, as he consistently promoted positive change and innovation in the customer service sector. His efforts were especially significant during years marked by volatility, where he worked diligently to inspire confidence and resilience within the customer service community in Manitoba.
In addition to his role on the board, Alan collaborated closely with the Sector Council program, the provincial government, and various like-minded agencies across the country. This collaborative approach allowed him to foster relationships that were crucial for the advancement of the call centre industry. By engaging with stakeholders at multiple levels, Alan was able to advocate effectively for the needs and interests of the sector, ensuring that the voices of those within the industry were heard and considered in policy-making and strategic planning. His commitment to building a robust network of support for the call centre community has left a lasting impact that will resonate for years to come.
