CALL FOR BOARD OF DIRECTOR NOMINATIONS - Is this the LEADERSHIP opportunity for you?
The Manitoba Customer Contact Association (MCCA) is looking for three individuals to nominate for the Board. These candidates should have the skills, experience, and values essential for MCCA's continued growth and success in an increasingly competitive and complex industry.

· Chances to participate in leadership events that emphasize education and networking with fellow leaders;

· Improve your organization's ROI from your MCCA membership by gaining recognition at events and having your role and organization listed on the MCCA website;
· Play an active role in establishing MCCA's strategic direction.

· Appreciate the difference between governance and management
· Ability to work as a disciplined, high-performance, trustworthy and ethical team
· Have knowledge about the services to members and vision/goals of the association
· Be able to actively participate in open and careful deliberation on all matters
· Have a willingness to invest in others, inspiring confidence and enthusiasm
· Have support from his/her employer and colleagues regarding the time commitment required for Board service
Effective Board members will oversee MCCA to encourage the growth and sustainability of a thriving, healthy, and dynamic industry. We have an Executive Director who leads a professional staff team, manages an annual operating budget, and ensures we have Directors and Officers Liability insurance. We utilize a Policy Governance® system for governance. The Board convenes at least six times annually at times convenient for most Board members (typically in June, September, October, January, February, and March).
