Certificate Programs with MCCA

MCCA has developed several certificate courses that are widely recognized and respected by various industry partners, educational institutions, and post-secondary establishments throughout Manitoba. These certificate programs are tailored to equip participants with essential professional skills that are critical for achieving success in the dynamic and ever-evolving customer contact industry within the province.

Certificate in Applied Management


In partnership with the University of Manitoba, Extended Education, the Certificate in Applied Management (CAM) was designed to provide individuals the opportunity to combine management studies with applications relevant to their own careers.

Participants in the CAM program will engage in a comprehensive development process that focuses on enhancing their management capabilities, refining their team leadership qualities, improving their communication skills, and deepening their understanding of industry-specific practices. The curriculum is designed to provide practical, hands-on learning experiences that equip participants with the tools they need to navigate complex organizational challenges effectively. Contact Centre 101


Contact Centre 101 is a comprehensive two-week course designed to equip individuals with the essential knowledge and skills necessary for thriving in the dynamic and fast-paced Customer Contact Centre Industry. This course not only delves into the critical elements that are specific to the industry, such as understanding customer relationship management, effective communication techniques, and the use of various customer service technologies, but also emphasizes the development of transferable skills that are invaluable across various career paths.


Participants will engage in interactive learning experiences, including role-playing scenarios, group discussions, and hands-on activities that simulate real-world customer interactions. By the end of the course, attendees will have a solid foundation in customer service principles, problem-solving strategies, and conflict resolution skills, all of which are vital for ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering positive relationships.

The 7 Sacred Teachings - as Guiding Principles in Leadership


This series is designed for Indigenous and Non-Indigenous leaders with a focus on collaboration towards the return to Indigenous values through the 7 Sacred Teachings.

   

Each module will explore how to apply each of these teachings in the context of leadership roles.  

 

This course is for anyone transitioning to a leadership role or for those currently in leadership to help bolster their skills with the additional benefit of Indigenous teachings.




Emerging Leaders Certificate Program


The Emerging Leaders Certificate Program is a comprehensive educational initiative designed specifically to empower leaders at various stages of their careers to effectively navigate and thrive amidst the constant changes and challenges present in today's fast-paced Call Centre workplace. In an industry characterized by rapid technological advancements, evolving customer expectations, and increasing competition, this program plays a crucial role in equipping participants with the necessary tools and strategies to lead effectively.
